Outfly has been declared at Wartburg College today. Students and faculty will take part in the time-honored tradition of a day off of classes. “Outfly's an important tradition that has been carried on for years. It allows the Wartburg community to come together to have a great time, without the normal pressures of the Wartburg ‘bubble,’” student body president Abhay Nadipuram said. Nadipuram is excited for this year’s Outfly and encourages students to get involved. “I didn't participate in hardly any of the stuff my first and second years at Wartburg, and I kind of regret it. I'm really excited for this year's Outfly and it will definitely be the best one in the past four years,” he said. Outfly is sponsored by the Wartburg College Student Senate, along with Entertainment ToKnight. “As Student Body President, it means a lot to me because I get to directly contribute to the sustainability of a long and embraced tradition. Also, I love being able to directly give back to the students who give so much of their time to making Wartburg one of the finest colleges,” Nadipuram said. Be sure to keep checking the Circuit throughout the day for photo galleries and a story on the history of Outfly Ausflug: A Wartburg tradition continues.
