An assault took place on Wartburg College campus in the early morning hours of March 21st.

Citizens said their goodbyes to Washington Irving Elementary School as Benton Sand and Gravel began the demolition by smashing in the windows of an old classroom.

McElroy Chair & Executive-in-Residence in Communication Arts and administrator of the Archives of Iowa Broadcasting, will appear live on IPTV this Sunday, Mar. 14 at 7 p.m. in connection with a program titled "TV Iowans Grew Up On", focusing on children's TV shows from the 1950s-1990s.

Parents with children who will be in kindergarten next year in the Waverly-Shell Rock school district are asked to register their children during kindergarten registration. Registration for students attending Shell Rock School is March second from eight a.m. to three p.m. at Shell Rock elementary.

The Strategic Planning Committee recently met with the Board of Regents to discuss proposed values, vision, and goals, and to review the next steps in the strategic planning process. Students are welcome to attend both the 11:30 and 4:00 on March 4 sessions where the President will present strategic planning update.
